Stephen Frazer has over 40 years experience as a designer of innovative consumer electronic, plastic and professional products for client companies operating in Europe, Asia and North America.

Graduating from the Central School of Art & Design and the Masters Course at the Royal College of Art, Stephen started his career with the design of domestic appliances for Hotpoint & Morphy Richards.

Stephen setup as a design consultant in 1974 with the design and development of the UK’s first TV games and consumer electronics for Videomaster and Electroplay.

This early work for emerging electronic technologies and startup entrepreneurial clients, established the need for integrating creative design and innovation with practical technical problem solving and engineering for rapid production implementation.

Stephen co-founded Frazer Design in 1978, which has given style and physical substance to many new technologies from hand held computers for Psion, mobile phones for NEC, to plastic kettles and TV remote controls for Sky, making them accessible and appealing to both business and consumer markets.

In addition to consultancy, he was an External Examiner to the Central School of Art & Design and has lectured on product design and innovation in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Stephen is a Member of the Academy of Experts and acts as an Expert Witness relating to design and development and intellectual property issues, concerned with both consumer products and industrial goods.

Pamela Frazer BA - Director

Design & Innovation Management, Brand Positioning & Strategic Marketing

Pamela has over 20 years experience of advising small and medium sized business across many sectors, including retail, manufacturing, hospitality and the food industry.

Her expertise focuses on identifying and supporting the goals, vision and direction of the client’s business, with the use of design, innovation, branding and communication.

She works closely with clients to develop an effective design brief and provide guidance in the selection of appropriate design resources, to meet a broad range of issues, including business planning, product development and access to investment.

Graduating in Interior Design from Manchester College of Art, Pamela worked on the design of retail, healthcare and office interiors. In 1978, she co-founded Frazer Design, heading up the interior design arm of the company.

Pamela joined Business Link for London in 1995 as a Design Adviser and in 2006 co-founded The Raft, a team of specialist business advisers, offering innovation and design business consultancy.

In addition to her consultancy work, Pamela acts as as a business mentor for The Prince’s Trust and as a Design Associate of the Design Council.
